Child Care contunied..

Parents participate in the daily care of their children, as well as attending Parent Effectiveness Training seminars to improve their parenting skills. Since many children of drug abusing parents display behavioral and emotional problems, Seadrunar enrolls both parents and children in external therapeutic programs whenever necessary. All children residing in the Seadrunar Nursery receive ongoing medical care and participate in structured leisure activities both in and away from the facility

Job Training/Recycling Project

Seadrunar also has its own recycling business. The purpose of this business is to provide job training to clients. It also is helping Seadrunar to become self-sufficient. Upon evaluation by the staff, a client will be permitted to participate in the job-training project.
