Frequently Asked Questions

FEES:

There is a $500 non-refundable entry fee for Washington state residents not receiving public assistance.
There is a $1597 non-refundable fee for the first month of treatment costs for applicants who reside outside of Washington state


FUNDING SOURCE:

State Contract, DSHS, Public/Private Donations

ELIGIBILITY:

Persons must have drug/alcohol or drug/alcohol related problems. Acceptable age is 18 and above. Persons with histories of mental illness will be required to send a copy of a recent (six months or less) psychiatric evaluation. Persons showing current dependence on barbiturates, benzodiazepines and/or alcohol will be required to be detoxed before entering. Persons with a history of sexual violence and registered as a sex offender are not accepted.

AREA SERVED:

General service area is King County. However, referrals are accepted from out of county as well as out of state.

ADMITTANCE PROCEDURES:

Telephone calls arranging for an interview can be made by the prospective client. For persons incarcerated, an application will be sent upon request

CAPACITY:

Static Capacity - 73 adults and 11 children

CHILDCARE:

The Forest Park facility also has accommodations for clients' children from birth to age twelve.
